Jan. 01, 1961 - Works by Russian Born Sculptor-on show in London: Eighty-three exhibits by Russian OSSIP ZADKINE-said to be one of the greatest modern sculptors of the day-are being shown at the Tate Gallery in London. This is the first major exhibition of his works here-although they have been seen in New York, Paris etc. The exhibition shows his progress as a sculptor from 1914 to the present day. Photo shows Human Forest is the name of this exhibit by OSSIP ZADKINE which is being admired by Mrs. Gerda Stephen a sculptor and former student of Zadkine-at the Tate Gallery. Mrs. Stephen holds her baby daughter-one year old Jessica
