Jan. 01, 1967 - Tribute To Great Artist Little Known By Public As a tribute to a painter of great talent who was little known to public during his life time, an exhibition of 275 paintings due to Bonnard opened at the Musee De L'Orangerie picture gallery. (Pierre Bonnard was born in 1867 at Fontenay Aux Roses, near Paris, and Died in 1947 at Cannet, on the Riviera. He first exhibited in 1891 at the Salon Des Independents.
