(Pierre Bonnard was born in 1867 at Fontenay Aux Roses, near Paris, and died in 1947 at Cannet, on the Riviere. He first exhibited in 1891 at the salon des Independants. His style, if not always precise, wasever and rich in colours). Photo shows M. Andre Malraux (right, fooreground) Minister of Culture visiting the exhibition. Next to him is M.
