Nov. 11, 1969 - Telecommunications Exhibition: The Duke of Edinburgh is to open an exhibition on the design and technology of the telecommunications at the Design Center the evening. The exhibition will include a special feature suggesting now, in the 1990's a businessman may be able to work almost entirely from home using the compressive visual, audio and data communications equipment now becoming available. Organized by the post office Telecommunications Service and the Council of Industrial Design to mark the recent creation of the new Post Office, the exhibition will be open to the public from Nov 12 to Dec 13.
