Sep. 09, 1968 - Pictured are, L-R, Bavarian minister of state Dr. Alois Hundhammer, mayor of Berlin Klaus Schuetz, Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, former Bavarian minister of state Hoegner and bishop Neuhaeusler. They were but a few of the 5, 000 participants at the 23rd anniversary commemoration of the freeing of concentration camp victims of Dachau. The International Committee commissioned a memorial built by Yugoslavian sculptor Glid Nandor. There was a fierce protest by the SDS and the Soz. Deutschen Arbeiterjugend against the use of NATO march music in the camp
