Jan. 01, 1965 - Foreign Secretary opens his by-Election campaign : The Rt. Hon Patrick Gordon Walker the Foreign Secretary opened his campaign for the Leyton by-election this morning at Leyton. It is expected that the Colour Bar question will be the chief issue at the by-election because it was the immigration problem which lost him the general election seat at Smethwick.
