Jan. 30, 1960 - Famous French Flyers Dies After Long Illness - Pioneer of Night Flights Paris London. Paul Codos, the famous French Flyers, one of the pioneer of commercial aviation, died after a long illness in Paris this morning. He was 63 years old. In 1924 he was the first to undertake night flights between Paris and London. He made a non stop flight from Paris to New York with Rossi as a co pilot in 1933.
