Jul. 07, 1968 - The Beatles are off on a Magical Mystery Tour': The four most famous pop stars in the world are off on a three weeks tour of England in a motor coach. With them goes a film unit and their own staff. the Beatles are filming a short epic of their own creation which will be seen in the Winter months. Great secrecy surrounded the departure from London. Only one of the Beatles turned up. The other three met the motor coach some way out of London. Paul McCartney, however, the good boy, arrived only to find that the coach was an hour late. So he sat around was recognised, signed a few autographs. Then he went off to a canteen to have a cup of tea, played about with a camera and finally his part of the mystery tour commenced.
