Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr in TV Xmas recording
Chips with Everything.: That's what happened during the recording of the BBC Television's special Christmas edition of Top of The Pops which will feature the Beatles in person and their 1966 chart-topping number I Feel Fine Ticket to Ride and Help'. During a break in the recording, when sets had to be changed, they sent out for some fish and chips to while away the time. I Feel fried said John and with that the producer put on their record I Feel Fine'; in true beatles fashion the boys began to smile while they munched, and the producer thought viewers might want to join in the fun - and started the cameras up. So it'll be chips with beatles for Top of the Pop viewers
