Paul Raymond, theatre producer, with three actresses

Twentieth Century Fox, of Hollywood, have threatened a London variety producer with legal action, if he includes a live presentation of Marilyn Monroe in the nude in his new show. Long before she was signed for Twentieth Century, Marilyn Monroe posed for a nude calendar picture, which her Hollywood bosses have done everything to suppress. The show's producer, Mr. Paul Raymond, refuses to alter the script and any of the scenes in his show - Stars of Sex Appeal - which opens at the Queen's Theatre, Poplar this evening. In addition to the nude pose the show will include a live reproduction of the occasion when Simone Silva was photographed nude above the waist with Robert Mitchum, at the Cannes film festival - and another feature is the censored scene from Ecstasy, in which Hedy Lamarr ran naked through a wood.
