May 05, 1968 - The Can Can returns to the old Met in Edgware Road, London, for new film. When the can can was first introduced to London many years ago it was performed at the old Metropolitan Music Hall in Edgware Road. Today it was danced there again, this time for the filming of scenes from the new 20th Century Fox film. Sons and Lovers which stars Mary Ure and Dean Stockwell and which is directed by Jack Cardiff. Pauline Cooper is in an ostrich feather trained hat of the 1910 period during the filming at the Metropolitan today
