Nov. 11, 1959 - Let us open the door to peace and freedom said the Minister of Education from Nordrhein Westfalen, Germany, Prof. Luchtenberg, when presenting the inside doors for the Peace Church at Hiroshima (Japan) to the members of Japanese legation Akira Sono. The leafs are produced by Karl Konig (Bonn) and show as lotos motifs. Photo Shows L-R, Minister of Education of Nord-Rhein Westfalen Luchtenberg (Prof. Luchtenberg), Pater Luttenbeck (Lutterneck), Mrs.Sono, member of the Japanese legation Akira Sono (Akirta Sono). The inscription in the German and Japanese Language reads: Give us peace - Nordrhein-Westfallen-Hiroshima 1956
