Peace demonstration, former state opera, East Berlin
Apr. 13, 1953 - Pictured is a crown that was hoisted on the site of the former City Opera on Unter den Linden. It was put up for a demonstration with Minister Paul Wandel in attendance. Later, 1, 600 workers, who were involved in the reconstruction of the opera, marched to the then current opera, the former Admiral's Palace, where they had a celebration
