Peace rally for Ulster, Trafalgar Square, London
Nov. 11, 1976 - Thousands Take Part in Peace Rally Through The West End of London: Thousands of people took part in the Ulster peace Rally in London today. The march was led by the peace leaders Mrs Betty Williams, and Miss Mairead Corrigan. They left Hyde Park Corner finishing with a rally in Trafalgar Square. On the platform to address the rally were, The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. Donald Coggan. The Archbishop of Westminster Cardinal Hume. the singing of the peace song was led by Joan Baez, the American folk singer.
