Feb. 29 London Pearly Kings and Queens Attend Royal Christening': Fifteen of London's Pearly Kings and Queens, dressed in their traditional costumes, attended the christening at St. Martin-in-the-Fields yesterday of two months old KIM Elaine O'Shea, daughter of Pearly Princess Jean and Mr.John O'Shea. Kim is the sixth generation of the Marriott family, who have held the title Royal Pearlies for more than eighty years. Before the ceremony, there was a christening luncheon held at the Battersea Festival Gardens. With Kim were great grandmother Mrs.Beatrice Marriott, Queen Mother of the Pearlies, her grandparents Mr.and Mrs. John Marriott, Pearly King and Queen of London her parents. Princess Jean and Mr.John O'Shea and several lesser Pearly Kings and queens. Photo shows The Rev.
