Aug. 08, 1967 - London Pearlies Attend Royal Christening Luncheon At Battersea Festival Gardens: Fifteen of London's Pearly Kings and Queens, dressed in their traditional costumes, today attended a special christening luncheon at Battersea Festival Gardens, as guests of the management, prior to the christening at St. Martin-in-the-Fields this afternoon of KIM ELAINE O'SHEA. Kim is the sixth generation of the Marriott family, who have held the title Royal Pearlies for more than eighty years.
