Nov. 11, 1959 - Penny receives the Queen's Pony.: Today was a big day for ten-year-old Penny Stephenson, of St. Leonard's Hill, Windsor- for at Windsor Town Hall today she received a pony that had been presented to H.M. the Queen during last year's Royal Canadian tour. The Queen decided to give the pony, which is named Miss Windsor to give the pony, which is name Miss Windsor, to a child in Windsor, Berks and schoolchildren were invited to write to the Mayor of Windsor saying why they thought they should have the pony.
