Oct. 10, 1958 - They Show Their Loyalty To The Peronist Regime - In Buenos Aires, By Burning The Trams: October 17th. - the Ex-Day of Loyalty to former Argentine President Peron was celebrated in Buenos Aires - by many of his sympathisers - who in spite of the ruling that all meetings were prohibited in the month of October - held demonstrations and clashed with police. In a demonstration of their sympathy with the former regime - the demonstrators set fire to a number of tramcars - vehicles so necessary in the city which is desperately short of public transport vehicles.
