Nov. 11, 1971 - SIR ALEC REPORTS ON RHODESIA AGREEMENT. DEMONSTRATORS IN WHITEHALL. An agreement to end the six-year-old constitutional dispute between Britain and Rhodesia was signed yesterday in Salisbury by Sir Alec Douglas-Home and Mr. Ian Smith. Sir Alec went along to No.10 Downing Street this morning to report to Cabinet Ministers before making a statement later in the Commons.
