Mar. 31 Sunshine Stops The Filming At Strand-On-The-Green: Scenes from the musical remake of the 1910's hit film Goodbye Mr.Chips, which were due to be shot at Strand-on-the-Green, Kew today were held up by adverse weather conditions - it was too sunny! The film, which is due for release in December 1960 stars Petula Clark as Mrs. Chips and Peter O'Tools as Mr. Chips.
