Oct. 10, 1970 - Pierre Cardin's New Uniforms For Nurses Shown At Today's Preview Of The London Nursing Exhibition: Revolutionary designs for new uniforms for nurses, by Pierre Cardin, were shown at today's press preview of the London Nursing Exhibition, which opens at Seymour Hall, London, W1 tomorrow. The use of colours is a deliberate move by Cardin to lighten the uniform gloom of ward uniforms. The uniforms have been designed to afford maximum movement. Photo Shows: Model Vonnie wears a turtle-neck belers and matching mini-skirt with side-seam splits in white, worn over a green pastel body stocking. The integrated skull-cap prevents the nurse's hair falling in her way. This uniform is designed for use in the operating theatre where freedom of movement is of prime importance
