Sep. 09, 1977 - Pikes Shown Son Of Environment Secretary Peter Shore Is Found Dead; 20 year old Piers Shore the elder son of Mr. Peter Shore the Environment Secretary was found dead yesterday in a house in South-West London, Police were called by a girl to a house in Olivette Street, Putney and found him dead. The girl Jane Taylor, and another couple all appeared to live in the house as squatters. There is no suspicion of foul play. On July 27th of lthis year Piers Shore appeared at the South-Western Court on a charge of driving under the influence of drugs and possessing heroin-based dis-morphine, Sentence was deferred until Jan. 25 for medical reports. His father Peter Shore is flying home from America today after being told of his son death by the British Ambassador in Washington Mr. Peter Jay. The post-mortem will be held on Monday at the Battersea morthary.
