Plane wreckage, son of Michael Bentine

Nov. 11, 1971 - Bentine's son found in plane wreckage: The body of comedian Michael Bentine's son was found last night in a wreckage of a light plane that crashed in forest land. The plane was found by a man walking through the Queen Elizabeth Forest near Cowplain, Peresfield, Hampshire. Inside police discovered the body of Stuart Bentine, 21. In the pilot's seat was the body of his friend Andrew Slade, 25. The plane, a Piper Club had been missing since it took off two months ago the Lasham Gliding Society airfield in Hampshire, heading gone the Isle of Wight. Photo shows the wreckage of the plane in which the body of Michael Bentine's son was found
