Jan. 19, 1974 - The central committee of the UDR (Democratic Union for the Republic) met this morning at the Intercontinental Hotel in Paris. The Prime Minister, Mr. Pierre Messmer gave a speech on job openings before returning to the Elysee Palace where President Pompidou summoned the Ministers for a meeting on economic problems.
