Mar. 03, 1961 - Demonstrations as Polaris submarine arrives in the Holy Loch, Scotland. The 6700 ton American Polaris submarine Patrick Henry arrived in the Holy Loch, Firth of Clyde today and tied up alongside the submarine depot ship Proteus'. On arrival she was cheered by the Royal Navy and while she was making fast a lone demonstrator in a canoe was dodging four navy launches with police on board. After 11 minutes the canoe was capsized and its occupant fished out of the water by naval frogmen.
