Police in search for missing child, Laleham Golf Course

Oct. 16, 1954 - Police Dig on Golf course in search for Missing Child: Survey police were digging near the fifth green on Laleham Golf Course, Surrey - yesterday - in their search for missing four year old Patsy Morfew. The child has been missing for nine months from a caravan in Moxham's Lane, Chertsey, Surrey. The search started after the child's grandmother had written to Scotland Yard from Egham, three miles from Chertsey. A woman, brought from Stockton-on-Tees, Durham, told the police where to dig.
