Sep. 09, 1958 - Bandits Make 2, 000 Snatch Hold Up In Clapham: Four bandits - diving Jaguar Car - today rammed a taxi in Union Road, Clapham - and attached 2, 000 from the occupants - Mr. King Ton Jones - an employee of Messrs. Freeman's a local toy firm - and 30 year old bank messenger Mr. Henry Whiffen of Peckham. They were returning from the bank to Fredman's with wages.
