Nov. 11, 1968 - The Booted Bobby meets the photographer who took his picture: Police Constable Derrick Rogers, the man who was booted in the face at an anti Vietnam war demonstration on Sunday Oct. 27th, expressed a wish to meet Bob Aylott, the young Keystone Press Agency photographer who took the picture that shocked everybody who saw it. Today Bob went along to his home in Cumberland Avenue, Hornchurch, Essex, to meet Constable Rogers. PC Rogers, the father of four, is still on sick leave and it may be some time before he is back on duty.
