Policemen caught up in Princess Anne kidnap attempt
Jul. 07, 1974 - Policemen who were caught up in the attempted kidnap of Princess Anne meet the Metropolitan Police Commissioner: Police Constable Hills, Inspector James Beaton and Detective Constable Edmonds, the three members of the Police Force who were injured during the attempted kidnap of Princess Anne, have now recovered from their injuries and today went along to New Scotland Yard to meet Sir Robert Mark, the Metropolitan Police Commissioner.
