Policemen clear restaurant due to bomb threat, London
Oct. 15, 1975 - October 15th, 1975. Police heros who were three minutes from death. Two policemen told yesterday of the moment when they realised that a holdall bag placed outside Lockets, a favourite restaurant used by MPs in Westminster, Central London, was packed with deadly explosives. The two quickly cleared the restaurant where about 40 people were dining, set up road blocks as an explosive expert moved in and defused the 30 lb bomb only three minutes before it was due to go off.
