Feb. 29 The World of Franklin and Jefferson /Inaugurates the Bi-Centenary Celebrations of the United States/ The Exhibition under this title was opened in Warsaw on May 12, the second European town after Paris. The exhibition illustrates 120 years of American history - from 1706 to 1826 - beginning with the colonial period - through the struggle for independence - and the expansion within the American Continent. It is thanks to the exhibition that we get acquainted with the spirit of the times the two outstanding men lived in and worked. The next European capital the exhibition will be shown is London. For the Warsaw public it will be opened until the end of June
