Jun. 06, 1961 - US Ambassador in Bonn, Dowling, (center), extends congratulations to 10 German boys and girls which were awarded a 6-weeks-journey to the USA for their outstanding bravery. They have saved lives of other children, have stopped bank robbers and done other heroic deeds. These ten were chosen out of over 2000 youngsters which are on the German godd-act-list for the last year. Their travel is sponsored by a youth magacine.
