US Politics - Government

Aug. 06, 1970 - The 78th peace talk-session on Vietnam took place in the Conference Room on Avenue Kleber. Mr. David Bruce presided over the American delegation for the first time. The American diplomat made clear that his presence does not signify any change in America's intentions, but that he had come to continue the old ways.
