Jul. 21, 1975 - Jackie Onassis visits Nea Smyrni house: Jackie Onassis recently paid a visit to Nea Smyrni House in the suburb of Athens where she expressed the wish that a special hall be erected devoted to the memory of her late husband Aristotle Onassis. Jackie toured all the installations of the House and spent some considerable time at the Alexander Onassis Library, which includes rare books about merchant marine. Nea Symrni is whose mostly Greeks of Asia Minor reside. They came to the Greek mainland after the tragic end of the 1922 Asia Minor expedition.
