Sep. 09, 1981 - Secretary Of state Alexander Haig as he held a live press conference at the U.S. State Department today. Haig expressed distress over Egyptian presiden Anwar El Sadat's Assassintion in Ciaro yesterday and promised to work closely with Sadat's sucessor Mohamed Hosni Bubarak who is presently Vice president. Haig also reiterated that no other country should dictate U.S. foreign policy. This was in reference to to Awacs sale to Saudi Arabia and Israeli opposition to the sale
