Dec. 12, 1974 - Churchill's Only Piece Of Sculpture Sold At Christie's: Included in today's sale at Christie's of modern British paintings, drawings and sculpture, were a portrait head of sculptor Oscar Nemon by Sir Winston Churchill - the only piece of sculpture that Churchill ever did, and which was executed at Chequers in 1952 while Churchill was sitting for Nemon - and a portrait head of Sir Winston Churchill by Oscar Nemon executed at Chequers in 1952. Photo Shows: Pictured prior to today's sale at Christie's are the head of Sir Winston Churchill by Oscar Nemon, which was sold for 1470, and the head of Oscar Nemon by Sir Winston Churchill, which was sold for 1155
