Portraits of De Gaulle by Boris Vansier in Paris exhibition
Jun. 09, 1965 - General De Gaulle Seen By Painter Boris Vansier: Russian painter living in France, Boris Vansier, was never going to the Elysee Palace to see President de Gaulle. It was sufficient to him to see the president on the television screen during his press conferences and also to see some of his pictures in the papers, to realise an exhibition which is on show in a Paris Gallery. We must note that the paintings by Boris Vansier are not ordinary ones. But they are made of Scotched papers gathered on the point and covered after with colours. Photo shows some of the paintings of Boris Vansier representing President de Gaulle
