Jun. 06, 1954 - Former Dominican President in Spain: The former Dominican President, General Rafael Leonidas Trujillo, who is on an official visit to Spain, paid visit to the giant monument to the Franco's soldiers who died during the Civil War at Cuslgamuros, 35 miles from Madrid. The total work is estimated to have cost over 25 million dollars. Trujillo was accompanied by General Franco, who explained details about the monument.
