Feb. 26 Madrid's historic Teatro Lara, scene of the opening of Manuel De Falla's El Amor Brujo. The hundred year old Madrid theater is itself one of the traditions of the Spanish capital, now scene of a zarzuela revival. The dramatic locale of La Verbena de la Paloma, literally The Festivities of the Dove, is the ambience of the Lara itself, while La Gran Via, The Great Way, celebrates the building of a boulevard only streets away from the theater
