Dec. 12, 1973 - Spanish Premier Assassinated in Bomb Blast: Spanish Premier Vice - Admiral Luis Carrero Blanco on of General France's most trsuted aides, was killed todayby a massive bomb blast outside Jesult church in the center of Madrid. Admiral Blanco, who is 70, had just got into his car after attending mass. The car was hurled high into the air and landed on a second floor terrace of an apartment His Chauffeur and policeman were also believed killed in the blast. Admiral Blanco was Spain's No. 2 abd was expected to take over after Franco's death of retirement. Photo shows ADmiral Blanco the Spanish Prime Minister who was killed in bomb blast in Madrid today
