Jan. 10 The new 1066 Battle - At hastings post office: hastings had and new battle of hastings yesterday, but this one was in the Post Office (900 yeasr to the day). But the enemy this tiime was stamps - thousands of them - as Hundreds of stamp collecters queued at the hasting post office to get the first of the new Battle stamp. Photo shows thousands of the first-day covers laid out to dry all ready to be sent off to stamp collectors all over the world
