Preparations for President Eisenhower visit, Downing Street
Aug. 15, 1959 - President Eisenhower's Press Secretary Visits Downing Street To Make Arrangements For President's Visit. Mr. Hagerty, Press Secretary for President Eisenhower, accompanied by other members of the President's staff, went to Downing Street this morning to confer with Mr. Harold Evans, the Prime Minister's adviser on public relations, and Mr. Peter Hope, of the Foreign Office news department, to coordinate arrangements for the forthcoming visit to this country by the President.
