Annual Mrs. Mopps Ball at Manor Place Baths. Walworth. Best part dresses will replace the buckets - mops and dusters of the 1, 000 chars - all employed by the Government - and they will vie with each other for the title of Glamorous Grandmother'. Beauty Queen - Bathing Queen etc. Win or lose - a good time will be had by all.
