Preparing for Bavarian agricultural festival, Munich

Feb. 29 Preparations for the Bavarian Zentral-Landwirtschaftsfest 1981 in Munich, West Germany: people are painting busily at the Munich Theresienwiese - more exact, at the southern part of the site, because the 116th Bavarian Zentral-Landwirtschaftsfest (central agricultural festival) will take place there from September 19th until 29th. A Bavarian village is one of the particular attractions at the exhibition of this year. A gigantic painting, on which the Munich poster artist Manfred Schneider has been working for nearly three weeks, forms the background. It shows a village-square with a farm, a barn, a Maypole and a raised dance floor on which people can dance and make music. Of course, the experts will direct their attention more to the farmer's Olympiad, the informative trade-show for agriculturists
