Oct. 10, 1971 - After The Revolution Failed: Buenos Aires, Argentina: A mini-Revolution to overthrow President Lanusse's government which started in two military quarters of the province of Buenos Aires, at Olavarria and Azul, has just failed and some 80 military authorities have been arrested. On the same night of the revolution President Alejandro Lanusse broadcast to the Argentine people, surrounded by a group of generals saying that the Argentine government insists on bringing normality via the forthcoming elections to ensure a definitive constitutional government.
