Jun. 06, 1975 - Meeting of President Ford and Egyptian President Sadat in Salzburg: On June 1st and 2nd 1975, US - President Gerald Ford and Egyptian President Anwar El-Sadat have met in Salzburg/Austria. During this first personal meeting of the two head of states, they mainly talked of the problems in the Near East. President Sadat arrived on Saturday after a visit to Vienna, where he talked to chancellor Bruno Kreisky. President ford arrived on Sunday after a visit to Spain and talks to General Franco.
