President Giscard d'Estaing on visit to Wurzburg, Germany
Dec. 26 During His State Visit In West Germany The French President Paid A Visit To Wurzburg: as a mark of the French-West-Germany friendship but also under the aspect of the role of Europe in the world-politics crisis, stood the addresses of the Bavarian Prime Minister Franz Josef Strauss and of the French President Valery Giscard d'Estaing, who was on Wednesday in the frame of his five days lasting state-visit in Wurzburg/West-Germany. The French delegation, to which in addition to Giscard d'Estaing and his wife Anne-Aymone, also the minister for Foreign Affairs Francois-Poncet, Giraud (industry), Deniau (foreign trade), Lecat (culture) and Monique Pelletier (women's rights) belongs, landed in the morning by helicopter in front of the Wurzburg residence. First Giscard stepped the square of the 8000 jubilation watchers and after the national anthems the front of a honour-guard company of the stand-by police.
