President Heuss at commemoration, Ploetzensee Prison

Jul. 07, 1954 - Federal President Professor Heuss was at Ploetzensee prison on July 20, 1954 to honour the memory of the victims of the prison. People who protested against the war in Nazi Germany were tried and locked up in the penitentiary. The date was the ten-year anniversary of the failed plot to assassinate Hitler, for which several of those involved were executed
