Jun. 06, 1965 - Twentieth Anniversary Of Signing Of United Nations Charter Commemorated At San Francisco: The City of San Francisco, which served as host to the United Nations at the time of its birth, 20 years ago, was again host for representatives of member nations who assembled in the city to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the signing of the Charter of the United Nations as well as the International Co-operation Year. Commemorative meetings were held on 25-26 June in the Opera House where the Charter was adopted on 25 April 1945. President Lyndon B. Johnson of the United States with Secretary-General U. Thant. At the right and left of the President are, respectively Ambassador Adlai E. Stevenson, Permanent Representative of the United States to the UN, and Dr. Ralph J. Bunche, UN Under-Secretary for Special Political Affairs
