Press at Chartwell for European Army conference
Aug. 08, 1954 - Save the European Army meeting at Prime Minister's country home: Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill held a conference at his country home Chartwell, near Westerham, Kent, this afternoon. It was attended by and Britain's Foreign Secretary Mr. Anthony Eden. The conference followed the break down of the Brussels European Army talks. Photo shows the battery of pressmen seen on front of Chartwell when the Prime Minister and his guests posed on the steps after the conference this afternoon
